Founded in 2025, Matr announces a 1.5 million euro Seed round led by Seed4Soft. The startup publishes a conversational predictive AI platform that lets business teams query their data in plain language and trigger concrete actions in their daily work, within days.
The bottleneck is not the data, it is access to it
Most companies already hold plenty of data. What is missing is the path from a business question to a decision. Every request for analysis goes through a data team, joins a queue, and comes back too late to change anything. The usual reflex is to grow the data team. Matr takes the problem from the other end: making analysis directly available to the people who need it.
Querying data the way you ask a question
The platform is built for business teams, not for specialists. Users phrase their question in plain language and get an answer they can act on: conversational dashboards, ad hoc exploration, anomaly detection. The promise is not only to answer, but to turn that answer into a concrete action.
Matr sits where the work actually happens, in Slack, in Teams or through its API, rather than in one more tool to open. That is a distribution choice as much as a product one: the analytical firepower of a senior profile arrives inside the tools teams already use.
A round led by Seed4Soft
The round, led by Seed4Soft, is intended to let Matr accelerate product development and hire in order to step up the pace.
The investment is part of Seed4Soft's mandate extending to artificial intelligence and Deeptech, alongside the B2B software that remains its home ground. Matr brings both together: a demanding piece of technology, and an immediate business use.
