Seed4Soft welcomes four new members

Four B2B software executives and entrepreneurs join the collective, which now counts twenty-seven members. Complementary backgrounds, and the same way of investing: as much experience as capital.

Seed4Soft is growing. Four B2B software executives and entrepreneurs join the collective, which now counts twenty-seven members. Their backgrounds say the same thing as those of the other twenty-three: they have practised the trades they are about to support, and they commit as much experience as capital.

Dominique Valentiny, international investing

Studies at École polytechnique and MIT Sloan, then an executive career in telecoms: Hub One, followed by Skysites Americas in Brazil. Dominique Valentiny now counts more than thirty early-stage investments across four continents and sits on several boards. On any given company, both a technical and a business reading, which is rarer than it sounds.

Sylvain Jauze, go-to-market at global scale

Senior Vice-President Worldwide Sales at Cegid, which he joined in 2008, Sylvain Jauze built the international commercial expansion of one of the most emblematic software publishers in France, now present in more than ten countries. Before Cegid, he had led sales and international operations at VCSTIMELESS, Retek, JDA Software and Comshare. Go-to-market expertise is one of the resources founders ask for most, and one of the hardest to find.

François Koehl, advising executives

Senior Partner at the consultancy Tasmane, François Koehl supports finance and IT leadership through their transformations. He previously founded and ran Advese for seventeen years, a firm specialised in advising CFOs and CIOs, later folded into the Mazars group where he became a partner. An engineer by training, he knows how to examine a business model built on a technology, an exercise many seed rounds hinge on.

Laurent Sultan, revenue growth in enterprise software

Chief Revenue Officer at Diapason, Laurent Sultan was CRO of ActiveViam after almost nine years at Intralinks, where he led global sales and then the EMEA region. More than twenty years spent building international commercial organisations in enterprise software, and a place among the GTM Alliance’s “Top 20 GTM Influencers”.

What it changes for founders

Four complementary profiles, reinforcing what the collective has promised since 2011: investing alongside people who have lived through the challenges of B2B software publishing from the inside. A round with Seed4Soft is not only a cheque, it is access to operators who have already solved the problem in front of you.
