Content Square named Startup of the Year by AFDEL
At its new year reception held on Tuesday 15 January 2013, the French Association of Software and Internet Solutions Publishers (AFDEL) gave an award to Content Square in the "Business Services" category, for its innovation, its vision and the quality of its work.
The trophy was presented by Alain Crozier, President of Microsoft France, before an audience of 250 representatives of the digital economy and in the presence of Fleur Pellerin, Minister for SMEs, innovation and the digital economy.
A startup founded by Jonathan Cherki, an ESSEC graduate aged 26, Content-Square develops a range of testing and optimisation solutions that improve the user experience, optimise the ergonomics of web journeys and increase conversion rates.
Content-Square counts among its clients: Vente-privée, Oscaro.com, Bouygues Telecom, Sephora, L'Occitane, Leroy Merlin, 01net and others.
For the occasion, Content Square is rolling out its new website: http://www.content-square.fr and launching a complete solution dedicated to optimising sales on e-commerce sites.
Analysis of user perception along a purchase journey, tracking of real visitors' mouse movements, measurement of the effectiveness of different versions of a web page, testing of load times, browsers and resolutions, comparison of mockups: everything is perfectly connected to understand what holds users back from buying and what motivates them.
Content Square goes as far as offering its clients a list of operational recommendations and mockups, ready to be integrated.
The result: higher sales and a bounce rate down by 15 to 100%.
Jonathan Cherki, President of Content-Square: "We are happy and proud to receive this award. Our team will carry high and loud the values of innovation that AFDEL stands for.
As it happens, at the start of this year 2013 we are launching a new service designed specifically for e-commerce sites. Thanks to the support of Seed4soft, both financial means and people, we have been able to build a complete and mature solution that solves the equation of increasing sales.
Our approach: putting people at the centre of our analysis. Our method: understanding how users perceive things, analysing how visitors navigate, testing different versions of pages live in order to build the optimal one. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!" Jonathan concluded.
