Eric Boustouller is one of the long-standing figures of the tech ecosystem. A 1986 graduate of Sciences-Po in Paris, after 14 years at Compaq he joined Microsoft in 2002, where he became head of France while also holding a Vice President International role.
After a brief spell at Solocal (formerly Pages Jaunes), he is now beginning a new adventure within the investment fund C4 Ventures, where he joins his friend Pascal Cagni as a partner.
Founded in London in 2014, C4 Ventures sets out to support entrepreneurs from their Series A onwards. It is aimed in particular at innovative startups in IoT, e-commerce, the future of work, AI, Web3, blockchain and cybersecurity. The focus is geographic too: the fund's four partners concentrate first on the old continent, where they have the most experience. "We know Europe, we are connected to a certain number of networks, whatever they may be."
